Today at the Maryland Express Care Criti

Today at the Maryland Express Care Critical Care Symposium Queen Anne’s County Department of Emergency Services presented their Mobile Integrated Community Health program and the positive effect it is making on Queen Anne’s County residents who require additional health care needs from the community. This has been a joint effort between the Department of Emergency Services and the Queen Anne’s County Health Department to reduce re-admission to Shore Health Systems and give additional health care avenues for residents. Department of Emergency Services Director Scott Haas along with Queen Anne’s County EMS Medical Director and County Health Officer Dr. Joseph Ciotola were instrumental in the creation of this program. Along with the support of the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Service and all of the allied agencies pulling together make this my definition “Mobile Integrated Health.” http://ow.ly/i/eqwnF http://ow.ly/i/eqwnO http://ow.ly/i/eqwo4
